Analysis of football-related hate speech in more than 10 EU regions.

Challenge

The goal is to identify hate speech directed at football players: analyse who is targeted, when, how and by whom. We identify incidents and examine extremist narratives – how they start and get shared in Europe – linked to football-related digital media such as online forums and websites.

Solution

A user-friendly dashboard displays incidents in football contexts, covering the UK, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Germany, Croatia and Bulgaria.
