The proliferation of online sexism and harassment is a critical issue that demands more attention. Despite the widespread awareness of such content online, toxic speech targeting women often slips under the radar. This project aims to change that narrative by developing specialised tools to address online sexism and harassment.

Our Approach

We analyse content on fringe platforms to improve a broader understanding of the issue, driving new tools to identify and contextualise online sexism and harassment.

What impact is it having?

The project aims to shed light on the still often-overlooked issue of online harassment of women, offering nuanced insights into its manifestations and impacts. By bringing these issues to the forefront, we hope to enhance awareness and encourage measures to create safer online environments.
